Hockenbergs Equipment & Supply Terms and Conditions

Shipping
  • Most items will be shipped via UPS. Large, heavy, or bulky items, such as equipment will be shipped via motor freight (truck). Motor freight companies can provide extra services such as lift gate delivery or inside delivery at extra cost. Contact Hockenbergs Customer Service if you require such services.
  • All amounts and prices are exclusive of shipping charges. Once your items are packaged and weighed, shipping charges can be determined and they will be added to your order and charged to the payment method you have selected.
  • Hockenbergs makes every effort to ship in stock merchandise within 24 hours. Special order items will take longer. In the event we are unable to ship your merchandise within a reasonable length of time, we will notify you by email and await your instructions.
  • Be sure to carefully inspect your merchandise on arrival BEFORE YOU SIGN for it. Once you accept the merchandise, it is very difficult to obtain compensation for damaged goods.
Payment
  • Hockenbergs accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
  • Except for Special Order merchandise (denoted with an *), Hockenbergs does not charge your card or reserve any amount of your available credit until your merchandise is shipped.
  • Credit card information is collected and securely stored exclusively by our credit card processor. At no time does Hockenbergs or any of its employees have access to your credit card information
Sales Tax
  • Most items that Hockenbergs sells are subject to sales or use tax in the locality to which they are shipped. As a service to our customers, Hockenbergs collects those taxes in all US destinations.
  • Certain items may be tax exempt when purchased by licensed foodservice operators. Some customers may be exempt from sales taxes altogether. In either case, to claim sales tax exemption, you will need to contact Hockenbergs Customer Service and provide a proper Tax Exemption Certifcate.
Warranty
  • Hockenbergs wants you to be satisfied with your purchase and will go to all reasonable lengths to resolve any dissatisfaction.
  • Most merchandise is covered by the manufacuter's standard warranty, the terms and conditions of which vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
  • Many equipment items will be repaired by the manufacturer's designated service company. This information can often be found on the manufacturer's web site.
  • Please contact Hockenbergs Customer Service to assist you with any warranty related issues.
Returns
  • Hockenbergs will accept returns on most merchandise provided the item is new and unused and is in its orginal packaging.
  • No returns are accepted on custom or made to order items.
  • Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization from Hockenbergs Customer Service
  • Returns may be subject to a restocking charge of up to 50% of the purchase price and the cost of return shipping.
  • In the event that Hockenbergs shipped the incorrect item, restocking and shipping charges will be waived.
  • Credit for any returned items is subject to receipt and inspection by Hockenbergs. Your original invoice number is required. Any refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment.
Privacy
  • Hockenbergs respects your privacy and the privacy of the information you provide to us. We collect and store only information necessary to do business with you including your name, shipping address, email address, etc.
  • Hockenbergs does not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your information to any outside parties.
  • From time to time, Hockenbergs sends promotional materials to its customers. If you are receiving such materials and would prefer not to, please contact us and we will remove your name for our lists.
